WILLIAMSTON, N.C.—Joey Daniel “Joey” Bryant, 38, died Sept. 24, 2008.
Born in Ahoskie, N.C., and reared in Boykins, he was a building construction supervisor and a member of Berean Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sonja Sullivan Bryant; a daughter, Amber Lynn Bryant; a son, Dustin Daniel Bryant; his father, James Walter Bryant Jr., of Williamston; his mother, Barbara Johnson Turner of Conway, N.C.; five sisters, Deborah Kay Banks of Williamston, Crystal Jean Ingalls of Barco, N.C., Angel Beth Christopher of Washington, N.C., Jeannie Dawn Christopher of Portsmouth and Carol “Poochie” Jones of Emporia; a brother, Walter Erwin “Bubba” Bryant of Greenville, N.C.; three nieces, Amanda Dawn Ingalls, Taylor Christopher, and Kristina Harris; and nine nephews, Billy, Thomas and Tony Bryant, Shane Donnelly, R.J. and Alex Diaz, Austin Christopher, Leon Turner and Daniel Walton.
He was predeceased by a sister, Carol Bryant.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins, with the Rev. Charles Alvis officiating.
Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
The family was to receive friends Saturday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
