Rudolph Ezzell
COURTLAND—Rudolph Ezzell, 63, died Sept. 27, 2008.
Born in Columbus County, N. C., he was a son of the late Alma Mae Richardson and William Odell Ezzell.
Mr. Ezzell was predeceased by two sisters, Alma Blythe and Alene Andrews.
He was a retired millwright from Union Camp Corporation and a member of Sedley Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Vanessa E. Pair and husband William of Lawrenceville; a son, Stevie L. Ezzell Sr. and wife Nancy of Courtland; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Hewitt of Sedley and Pansy Hardwick of Pearl, Miss; two brothers, Paul Ezzell and Roger Ezzell, both of Whiteville, N.C.; his former wife, Vera Blythe Copas of Franklin.
The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at Sedley Baptist Church with the Revs. Armand Jalbert and David Dillon officiating.
Internment will follow at Lankford Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, and suggests memorials be made to Sedley Volunteer Fire Department, 18080 Johnson’s Mill Road, Sedley, Va. 23878.
