An honorable endeavor

Today, on Pages A1, A6 and A7, The Tidewater News proudly pays special tribute to local Boy Scouts by displaying photographs of the boys who take part.
Scouting offers these boys a chance to develop their characters, interact with other children in a family-friendly setting and learn about being good citizens.
It’s obvious from the deluge of photos we received for the pages that there are many caring and wonderful Scout leaders in our community.
One such example shines — a troop in Carrsville in which four young men have made it to rank of Eagle Scout and two others are well on their way.
Kudos to Scoutmaster Philip Bradshaw for his strong leadership and devotion to these boys.
And congratulations to the scouts for a job well done.
