To the Editor:

The Town of Boykins is preparing to celebrate its 125th birthday in November with numerous festivities. One of the attractions will be a PowerPoint presentation of pictures from days gone by.

In order to create the presentation, the committee that is in charge of preparations is requesting anyone who has old pictures of Boykins, either as it has been during the past 125 years or its inhabitants, to please share them with the committee so that they can be scanned and used in the presentation.

Photographs may be sent to the Town of Boykins, P. O. Box 363, Boykins, VA 23827, along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that they can be returned to the sender after scanning. Please identify any people or businesses in the pictures. Only those pictures sent with self-addressed, stamped envelopes will be returned.
