COURTLAND-Southampton County resident Brian Jerome Scott will be arraigned Thursday in connection with the 2007 shooting death of an Adams Grove woman.

Scott, 23, will appear in Southampton County Circuit Court on charges of first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The charges stem from the Feb. 13, 2007, death of 21-year-old Tirail Jackson, who was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in a home on Hicksford Road in the Adams Grove area of Drewryville.

Another suspect in the killing, Tiona Martine Tucker, has been indicted by a Southampton County grand jury on charges of murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
