LAWRENCEVILLE-Despite playing better than in week one, Tidewater Academy dropped to 0-2 on the season with a 34-6 loss to Brunswick Academy Friday night.

Tidewater’s lone touchdown came in the third quarter on a 10-yard scramble by quarterback Furley Yurbi.

Warriors head coach David Rodgers said his team showed improvement over last week’s 47-0 loss to Portsmouth Christian.

“I saw a lot of improvement over last week. It was a totally different team from last week,” Rodgers said. “We’ve got the physical part down. We are going hard on every play. We’ve just got to get the mental part down.”

The Warriors host Chincoteague at 7 p.m. Friday.
