WINDSOR—Robin L. Hewett, town clerk and treasurer for Windsor, has attained the Certified Municipal Clerk designation from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

The IIMC, founded in 1947, is the leading professional association for municipal clerks from towns and cities worldwide.

Hewett, an IIMC member, has been enrolled in the organization’s education program for the past four years.

“I know first-hand that the course work is difficult, for the IIMC has asked me to teach one of its courses; it is not easy,” said Windsor interim Town Manager John L. Rowe Jr. “Robin’s new certification reflects very highly on her abilities and professionalism, and she is a credit to both the Town of Windsor and her profession.”
