COURTLAND—The Come Together Festival will be held 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Shands Park in Courtland.
Originally billed as Woodstock Southampton, the arts and environmental festival will feature a ‘60s and ‘70s theme. There will be booths promoting recycling, energy conservation and other things one can do to live in harmony with the Earth.
The gazebo will feature the history of the ‘60s and ‘70s with posters, records, pictures and more. Musical hits from the era, including “Dancing in the Streets” by Martha & The Vandellas and “Do You Believe In Magic?” by The Lovin’ Spoonful will be played.
Anyone who knows how to play guitar and some of the tunes from that era is encouraged to bring instruments.
Other activities will include face painting, aromatherapy, hair brading, yoga and dying clothing.
Those attending are encouraged to dress in their ‘60s and ‘70s attire.
