FRANKLIN—Pauline Stokes, 98, of Franklin, died Aug. 20, 2010, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Franklin. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.

“Miss Sister,” as she was affectionately called, was a native of Isle of Wight County.

William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
