McCasky scores 9 in Windsor’s 51-37 loss

WINDSOR—Windsor senior Courtney McCasky scored 9 points and junior teammate Candace Ricks added 8 during the Lady Dukes’ 51-37 loss to Rappahannock on Friday.
Windsor freshman Brooke Sutphin and senior Courtney McCasky each made two, three-pointers.
The Lady Dukes dropped to 0-2 for the season.
Windsor led 11-5 after the first quarter and fell to 20-16 at the half. Rappahannock outscored Windsor 31-21 in the second half.
“WHS got into foul trouble early,” said Lady Dukes Coach Holly Andreski. “The first 10 points scored by RHS were free shots.”
The Lady Dukes’ next game will be Monday, Dec. 6, at home with Nansemond Suffolk Academy. The junior varsity game starts at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity game following.
