ISLE OF WIGHT—Isle of Wight Academy took down Portsmouth Christian 58-41 Friday night in a Metro Conference win.
The Chargers improved their record to 12-2 overall and 6-0 in the district.
Coach Benjamin Vaughn noted that his Chargers got off to a slow start. After the score was tied 5-all, the Patriots had an 11-8 lead at the end of the first quarter.

But in the fourth quarter, Privette connected on two, 3-pointers.
On defense for the fourth quarter, the Chargers held the Patriots scoring to 8.
Privette led the Chargers in scoring with 16 points followed by Sivertson with 11.
Portsmouth Christian’s Rayshard Brown led all scorers with 23.
