Privette, Sivertson score 27 in 1st quarter for IWA win

ISLE OF WIGHT—Brandon Privette and Nathan Sivertson combined for 18 points in a 27-point opening quarter as Isle of Wight Academy topped First Baptist 81-32 Tuesday night.
Sivertson, a sophomore center, had 14 points in two quarters; Privette, a senior guard and the leading scorer in the Metro Conference, finished with 20 points, including four 3-pointers. Junior reserve Ian Andrews had 10 points.
First Baptist, which managed only 7 points in the first quarter, was led by Colby Toler with 10 points.
The Crusaders lost to IWA by a nearly identical score, 79-31, on Jan. 4.
The Chargers improved to 17-5 overall. IWA visits Alliance Christian Friday and will host conference-leading Atlantic Shores Saturday.
