VIRGINIA BEACH—Isle of Wight Academy freshman Sarah Bowyer went 3-for-4, hitting a double and a triple, during Monday’s 16-8 Metro Conference win over Atlantic Shores.

Sophomore Hailey Glover earned her second win of the season, striking out 7 and giving up 6 hits. A. Brannon was tagged with the loss.

Also leading for the Lady Chargers were junior Kenzie Conner, who went 3-for-4 and 1 RBI; sophomore Lindsey Coble, 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBIs; and sophomore Shelby Jurewicz, who went 3-for-5 and 3 RBIs.

IWA is 2-0 in the conference. The Lady Chargers will play a non-league game at 4 p.m. today, March 23, at Windsor High School and host Williamsburg Christian at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for a conference game.
