FRANKLIN— The team of David Mascitti, Terry Waterfield, David Twiford and Bill Taylor won the 19th annual Franklin-Southampton Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament at Cypress Cove Country Club Monday.

The team scored a 61 and will have its names added to the Joe Dail Low Gross Tournament Champions plaque. Dail was tournament chairman for many years.

Second place went to John Warren, James Warren, Ashley Lee and Nathaniel Warren. Placing third was the team of John Beale, Charlie Corbitt, Connie Corbitt and Cora Ann Johnson.

Second flight winners were Chris West, John Gray, Brian Hampton and Tony Pulley, first; Patrick Coyle Phil Frix, Jason Rebbe and Brian Elms, second; Phil Wright, Rodney Bland, Dan Hoctor and Jonathan Wright, third.

Third flight winners were Brian Hedgepeth, Travis Parker, Frank Rabil and Sammy Belcher, first; Asa Johnson, Harold Blythe, Mac Coker and Jim Vasoti, second; Andy Clayton, Thomas Blair, Gary Rowe and Billy Kennedy, third.

The awards dinner was sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. William H. Goodwin Jr.

Smith Jewelers offered a one-carat diamond for a hole-in-one on hole 10, which no one carded.
