WINDSOR—As of 3 p.m. today, Community Electric Cooperative had 495 customers without power due to Hurricane Irene.

The remaining outages include 25 in Suffolk, 110 in Isle of Wight County and 360 in Southampton County.

The utility expects to be down to 100 or fewer customers by Thursday night and finish up by the end of the day Friday, said Greg Cook, vice president of administration and finance for Community Electric in Windsor.

All customer served by Franklin Power & Light had back power by Tuesday evening, said Director Mark Bly.
