NORFOLK-Spencer L. Hayes, 84, of Norfolk died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at McKendree United Methodist Church, 6870 N. Military Hwy., Norfolk, preceded by visitation at 1 p.m. Visitation in the church fellowship hall will follow the service.

Mr. Hayes was a salesman for W.I. McKendree Co. for 18 years.

Among his survivors is a daughter, Janet Hoff of Zuni.

Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
