Last week Richard Turner laid out the vision of these two board members very clearly and we support every word in his letter to the editor in the Smithfield Times.

Stan Clark and Tom Wright have well served the entire county in forward thinking to reduce our tax burden. Both have served not only their district but the entire county in moving our county into the next century with good common sense judgment.

They have also served as a conduit for the people of Smithfield in providing a new police department building and the people of Windsor in providing a much needed middle school. There are many issue faced by the board such as redistricting and water supply for the future and they have acted in the best interest of the county in both.

I wonder if the candidate that didn’t want a Walmart would ever consider bringing the 800 jobs to Windsor.  Clark and Wright are right. Support two candidates that vote their conscience.
