Wyche supported for re-election

I am writing this letter in response to the numerous letters that I have seen bashing the current representatives on the Southampton County Board of Supervisors.
In recent weeks, there have been comments boldly made that the currents representatives should be removed due to what is perceived as lack of progress or cover-ups of some sort.
As a resident of Southampton County — and specifically the Capron District — I have grown weary with the finger-pointing and slander that others have used to fill the paper regarding the incumbents. Let us focus on the heart of the matter.
Southampton County needs representation that is willing to move this county forward and out of the 1800s or even more so out of the idyllic age where farms ruled the earth. Residents need jobs and jobs can only come with progress. We must stop finger-pointing and get down to the business at hand: job growth, taxes, and/or increasing revenue within the county.
I, for one, have no qualms in standing in support of the current BOS representatives. For those of you who disagree, stop hiding behind innuendos and “man up.” If you have proven, FACT-BASED reasons to state why a candidate should not be reelected, STATE THE FACTS AND NOT YOUR OPINION.
Too many people are wasting our time and sensibilities with trips to the rumor mill instead of dealing with the facts. As for me and my house, we are supporting our local candidate, Supervisor Moses Wyche. I suggest that each of you base your decision on FACTS not somebody else’s opinion of who you should vote for. Maybe then real change will occur in this county!
