Beahm scores 27 in IWA girls’ fifth straight win

ISLE OF WIGHT—Tidewater Academy’s Cary Beahm scored 27 points in Isle of Wight Academy’s fifth straight win Monday.
The Lady Chargers beat the Lady Warriors 44-41 in the non-conference game to even their record at 8-8.
Gabriella Hooper scored 16 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists in the win, while Ally Van Campen scored 16 points, grabbed six boards, had four assists and one block.
“The girls are playing some of their better basketball of the season,” said IWA Coach Chris Hooper.
Taylor Pruitt was Tidewater’s second leading scorer with 12 points.
The loss drops the Lady Warriors’ record to 10-5 overall.
