GATESVILLE, N.C.—Mitchell Jordan Whitehurst, 57, of Gates County, N.C., died Monday, March 26, 2012.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1, at Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville. Visitation will follow the service.

Mr. Whitehurst was a former employee in the engineering department at Union Camp Corp. in Franklin.
