Jessica Gibbs and Christopher Wade Williams are engaged.

The future bride is the daughter of Sarah Gibbs of Courtland and the late Chris Gibbs. She is the granddaughter of Kathleen Gibbs of Midlothian and the late Onslow Gibbs.
A 2009 Southampton Academy graduate, she is studying English at George Mason University.
Her fiancé is the son of Sharon and James Williams of Courtland and grandson of Edna and John Wade of Sedley.
Also a 2009 Southampton Academy graduate, he is studying psychology at George Mason University and is employed by the financial aid office there.
The couple plans to wed Nov. 3, 2012.
