FRANKLIN—Franklin’s JaQuan Heath hit a triple during the Broncos’ 8-1 loss to Northampton on Friday.

Grant Scarboro was the losing pitcher.

“Our young team played its best game of the year,” said Franklin Coach Tommy Austin.

Also picking up hits for the Broncos were Tevin Sumblin, Antonio Elliott and Scott Davis.
