To the Editor:

The City Council of Franklin desperately needs new ideas and a new direction.

Little has been done to address pressing issues of job creation, oppressively high taxes and underperforming schools.

People with fresh ideas such as Mr. Linwood Johnson are surely needed on the council. Mr. Johnson is a very articulate, very intelligent individual and a tireless worker. He is both a mover and a shaker and is in no way connected to the council’s inadequate policies of the past.

Let’s give Mr. Johnson a chance to represent Ward 4 on the City Council. His election would be in the best interests of all of the people of Franklin.
