Joseph Charles ‘Joe’ and Sandra Rebovich ‘Sandy’ Joyner

FRANKLIN—Joseph Charles “Joe” Joyner, 62, and his wife, Sandra Rebovich “Sandy” Joyner, 58, died April 27, 2012.

Joe, a Franklin native, was a son of the late James Charlie “J.C.” and Edith Brittle Joyner.

He was a former manager of the particle board plant for Union Camp Corporation and Norboard Co. of Deposit, N.Y.

Sandy, who was born in Lucerne Mines, Pa., was the only child of the late Joseph and Jacquelyn Lee Cavanaugh Rebovich.

She was a registered nurse with Southampton Memorial Hospital for 35 years, currently serving as infection preventionist.

Survivors include a son, Joseph Charles “Jay” Joyner Jr. (Erin); Joe’s brothers, Robert Glenn Joyner (Vickie) and David Lee Joyner (Chrissy); four grandchildren, John Connor, Michael Riley, Kaleigh Marie and Logan Christian Joyner; Sandy’s aunts and uncles, Patricia Cavanaugh Smith of Lucerne Mines, Pa., Janet and Dennis Cavanaugh and David Desko, all of Marlborough, Mass., Doris and Paul Rebovich of Homer City, Pa., and Lillian Rebovich of Indiana, Pa.; and her cousins, Terry Smith, Robin Cavanaugh Desko, Leisa Joy Cavanaugh, Melissa A. Cavanaugh, Ashley Desko, Kathleen Desko, and Jeffrey Desko.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May, 12, 2012 at Wright Funeral Home.
