George Tillman Spain

SMITHFIELD—George Tillman Spain died Sept. 26, 2012.

A memorial service was held Saturday at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home in Hampton. A funeral service was held Sunday at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Drewryville.

Mr. Spain spent his early years in Drewryville and attended school there.

He was a supervisor at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry-dock Co. for 27 years.

He is survived his children, George Tillman Spain Jr., Steven Ray Spain and Kimberly Spain Fyfe.
