FRANKLIN—The Downtown Franklin Association and the Parade Committee will host the City of Franklin Christmas Parade at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7.

Lineup starts at 5:30.

The Elf Parade sponsored by DFA will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6.

Committee members coordinating the parade include Dr. Linwood Johnson as the citizen chairman; Leesa Livesay, executive assistant to the city manager; Frank Davis, director of Parks & Recreation; Dan Howe, director of DFA; Angela Artis with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority; Kim Hall with the Franklin Shrine Club; Woodrow Wilson with Franklin Star Lodge No. 288; Pat Ballard with Kiwanis Club of Franklin, Eleanor Ashburn of the Antioch Franklin/Southampton Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 72; and Anne Marie Semple and Erin Belt, both with the GFWC Franklin Junior Woman’s Club.
