FRANKLIN—A Hunterdale woman whose niece has not been seen in six days suspects foul play.

“She hasn’t been in contact with me and I have custody of her daughter,” Loretta Twiddy said Wednesday.

Twiddy on Monday reported Lisa Cash missing after she failed to visit her 2-year-old on Saturday. Twiddy said the 30-year-old never misses her weekly visits.

“If something comes up (she lets me know),” Twiddy said. “It’s just unlike her.”

Franklin Police Lt. Tim Whitt said there’s nothing that indicates foul play, and Cash may be with Chad Ray Bradshaw, 32. He drives a 2004 silver Dodge Stratus with Virginia tags WZA-7964.

Police indicated Cash was last seen on Thursday at Walmart with a black man and black woman.

The woman is a friend of Cash’s, Twiddy said. The woman does not know the man.

Twiddy, 54, and Cash stay in touch via Facebook or on the phone. Cash doesn’t have a cell phone, but uses other people’s phones.

Raised in Ivor, Cash was living in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and returned to the area in March 2011. She has 7- and 11-year-old sons in Idaho with their father. The missing woman’s father, Lyle Cash, lives in Ivor.

Police said Lisa Cash is homeless.

“She comes and goes,” Twiddy said. “She had been staying on Artis Street in Franklin.”

Twiddy said her niece is “having a hard time right now.”

“I’m very scared for her,” she said. “Her Facebook has blown up. She has very concerned friends and others who are being nosey. It’s not normal for her not to respond.”

“Lisa is like my daughter,” Twiddy added. “We have our own spats and then we’re OK.”

Twiddy said she doesn’t care for her niece’s boyfriend and doesn’t allow him in her home.

Cash is described as white, 5-foot-5 and weighs 128 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone who may know of her whereabouts is asked to call Franklin Police at 562-8575.
