FARMVILLE—Tidewater Academy senior Cary Beahm netted 30 points to help the Lady Warriors defeat Virginia Commonwealth Conference foe Fuqua School in overtime 55-48 Thursday.

The teams were tied at 47 going into overtime.

The Lady Warriors improved to 4-0 in the VCC and 9-3 overall.

Beahm had eight rebounds. Sophomore Taylor Pruitt scored 16 points, had 8 steals and 4 assists; senior Falon Willams added 9 points and 8 rebounds.

The Lady Warriors will next host Amelia Academy at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, for a VCC match-up.
