Virginia Clark of Franklin recently released her book, “Light Poetry from the Heart.”
The 146-page paperback includes poems she wrote that focus on “what she has lived and what she’s gone through” coupled with inspiration to let the reader know “you’re not alone.”
Virginia began writing poetry as a teenager. Her inspiration was her mother, who always read to her, and her father, a bishop who made her memorize parts of the Bible.
Virginia comes from a small town on the East Coast. She married at an early age and raised a family. When her children grew up, Virginia went to college for writing.
Selling for $20, the book is available on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble. Two poems are available for Kindle.
