WAKEFIELD—Kaleb Atkins scored 15 points and Hunter Haywood and Peyton Holdsworth had 14 apiece as Tidewater Academy beat Virginia Commonwealth Conference rival Kenston Forest 64-27 on Tuesday.

“Every one on my team contributed,” said TA Coach Walter Westbrook. “We played outstanding defensively, shot the ball well against multiple defenses, and the team played with lots of energy and enthusiasm.”

The Warriors improved to 9-6 overall and 4-2 in the VCC.

For the 22nd year, the Warriors will travel to Greenville, N.C., to play Oakwood School on Friday, Jan. 18, and Trinity Christian on Saturday, Jan. 19.
