GREENVILLE, N.C—The Tidewater Academy boys’ basketball team defeated Trinity Christian 50-30 and Oakwood School 61-28 during its annual road trip to Greenville, N.C.

Senior Hunter Haywood led Tidewater with 17 points against Trinity Christian on Saturday. Senior Kaleb Atkins led with five steals and nine assists.

During Friday’s game against Oakwood, leaders for the Warriors were Haywood and junior Danny McKenney.

Tidewater improved to 11-6 overall and remains at 4-2 in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference.

Students on Friday visited Eastern Carolina University.
