How’s business going: Good for this time of year. It gets a little slow after December, but come March things really get rolling.

One thing you wish everyone knew about your business: We can do the small jobs, like patching holes or filling cracks in your driveway, and we also do large jobs from site work to paving shopping centers and commercial stores. We also do a lot of utility patching.

Something you offer that a customer won’t find elsewhere: You meet the owner of the company because I do all of the estimating, and I’m on the job so everything gets done as we discussed.

Advice to young entrepreneurs: Don’t give up because things sometimes don’t go the way you thought they should. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. Sometimes what we think is best for us may destroy us. Take it one day at a time. Ask for guidance.

Your role model (in business or in life generally) and why?: My parents. My dad taught me how to make a living and my mom taught me how to live.
