FRANKLIN—James “Jimmy” Lee Griffin Jr., 46, passed away suddenly on April 3, 2013. Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late James Lee and Janie Bryant Griffin and was a driver for Mark Dunning Industries. He loved the outdoors, gardening, and was known as an excellent cook.
Survivors include his sisters Linda G. Woulf and her husband, Bob, of Franklin and Judy G. Lambdin of Suffolk; his devoted companion, Annette Colston and her daughter, Elizabeth, and son, Christopher; his aunts Irma Howard, Jackie McGhee, and Barbara Babb and her husband, Ralph; his nieces and nephews Jessica and Jennifer Woulf and Anna and Tripp Lambdin; and many cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.
