SUFFOLK – Will Rogers Kitchen, 77, of Ivor passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013. He was in business for over 50 years retiring in 2007 from K and S Super Market, Kitchen’s Mini Mart of Ivor and Kitchen’s Mini Mart of Zuni. Will enjoyed decorating his home. “The Christmas House”, in Ivor, VA for Christmas and other holidays, going fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maude E. Kitchen and R.J. Kitchen; daughter, Mary Ann Kitchen, all of Ivor and brothers,  Robert Kitchen of Colonial Heights, VA and R.J. Kitchen, Jr. of Erie, PA.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Krystle Kitchen and husband, Robert Haag of Smithfield; son, Will R. Kitchen, Jr. and wife, Brenda of Glen Allen; sisters, Evelyn K. Soulli of Ivor, Doris Groce of Charlotte, NC; brothers, John Kitchen of Elizabeth City, NC and Jack Kitchen of Hopewell, VA.

The family will receive friends at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory Wakefield Chapel tonight, Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ivor Cemetery.
