Annie Wells Peden

IVOR-Annie Wells Peden, 68, of Ivor passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her home. She was a member of Millfield Baptist Church. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Everett Wells and Effie Bryant Wells; her husband, Archer W. “Bean” Peden, Jr.; brothers, James Wells, Robert Wells and Martin Stanley “M.S.” Wells and a sister Mary Swinson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, John Whitley Peden, Sr., Amelia Covington and friend, Pattie and James Allen Peden, Sr. and wife, Sandra; grandchildren, John Whitley “J.J.” Peden, Jr., Cortney Michelle Peden, Roy Travis “T.J.” Covington, Jr., James Allen Peden, Jr., Jeffery Edward Peden and Jacob Andrew Peden; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Brayden, Sarah, Chelsea and Angel and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Wakefield Chapel tonight, Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Millfield Baptist Church with Rev. Brooks Gale officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
