COURTLAND—The Lady Raiders of Southampton Academy had no problems as they easily dusked the Lady Knights of Blessed Sacrament Huguenot 56-33 on Monday at Southampton Academy.

Lady Raiders Head Coach Chris Pope was really impressed with the team and stated that they moved the ball well on offense and played good defense during the game.

Mason Pope connected on two 3-pointers as the Lady Raiders jumped off easily to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter.

Both teams were even in points at 10 each in the second quarter as the home team led at the half 27-16.

The Lady Raiders resumed their offensive drive in the third quarter as they pumped in 18 points to the visitors’ 9 to increase their lead to 45-25 by the end of the third quarter.

The final quarter produced no offensive threat to the Raiders, as they dropped in 11 points to the Knights’ 8 points.

The Lady Raiders improved their record to 3–3 in the conference and 6-5 overall.
