BOYKINS—Paul Daughety, 80, died on April 18, 2014.

Born in Kinston, N.C., he was a son of the late Harry and Ellen Daughety.

Paul was an Army veteran, and has retired as a corrections officer at Southampton Detention Center.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda L. Daughety; his son, Kerry Daughety; and his brother, Ralph Daughety.

The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, in Berean Baptist Church with the Rev. James Young and the Rev. Charles Alvis officiating. Burial with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
