In the third, Washington and Lee continued scoring with D.J. Weldon scoring from 13 yards out with about 30 seconds elapsed in the second half.
Two minutes later, Windsor would answer, as Reid found Greene again, and this time it was a 69-yard completion. The kick failed, making the score 28-13.
The Eagles would again score 28 unanswered points. The first of the third came less than two minutes later, and it was Weldon from 1 yard out. 6 minutes later, Weldon took it in from 40 yards out.
