HAMPTON—Charles “Buddy” Scott died on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.

His survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Scott; two daughters, Shereka and Chaquita Scott; mother, Annie Mae Scott; and three grandsons, Jaylen Parker, Isaiah Scott and Terrell Archer Jr.

The funeral will be on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. in Gethsemane Baptist Church in Newport News. Burial will be in Hampton Memorial Gardens.

Cooke Brothers Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Newport News is in charge of arrangements.
