WILMINGTON, N.C.—Vivian Hancock Hall, 74, passed away on Wednesday Nov. 5, 2014, at home.

She was born on Sept. 14, 1940, in Courtland, Virginia, to the late Robert and Lillian Pope Hancock. She is also preceded in death by a son, Harry Herbert III.

Vivian is survived by her two sons, Pat Herbert (Brenda) and Rob Herbert; three grandchildren, Cam Herbert, Kaye Herbert and Hannah Herbert; two sisters, Betty Kirkland and Ann Kellogg; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. Vivian enjoyed playing the piano, loved playing cards and working on crossword puzzles with her friends.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, at Andrews Market Street Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
