Thomas and Cynthia Sanford of Franklin, and Randy and Frankie Carr of Windsor, parents of Tiffany Carr, announce the arrival of their grandchild, Olivia Grace, who was born on Feb. 1, 2015, at 4:48 p.m., the first birth during American Heart Month at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Olivia Grace weighed 2 lbs. 11.7 oz. and measured 14-¾ inches long at birth.

Eddie Belcher and Amber Whiseant from Newsoms have been honored as Olivia Grace’s godparents.

Maternal great-grandparents are Lyle and Faye Cash of Richmond.

The paternal great-grandparents are George and Carolyn Carr of Ivor, and the honorary grandmother is Josephine Owney from Wakefield.

With the grace of God and modern medicine both mother and baby are all doing fine.
