Mr. and Mrs. James Tilden Pinner of Boykins are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Alexis, to Pete Thomas Twisdale II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Thomas Twisdale Sr. of Franklin.

The bride-to-be is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman C. Lee of Boykins. She is also the paternal granddaughter of Miss Diana Messervy of Summerville, South Carolina, and Mr. James Cecil Pinner of Suwanee, Georgia.

Pete is the paternal grandson of Mrs. Josephine T. Davis of Edgerton, Virginia, and the late Edward “Eddie” Twisdale. He is also the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cullie Vick of Carrsville, Virginia.

The bride-to-be graduated in 2012 from Southampton High School, Courtland, Virginia. She is employed by Southampton Surgical Associates in Franklin, Virginia.

The groom-to-be graduated from First Baptist Christian School in Suffolk, Virginia. He received his Associates degree in Arts and Science for Business Administration from Paul D. Camp Community College in 2013.

He is employed by Franklin BP in Franklin.

The wedding will take place on March 7, 2015.
