Congratulations to Keith Carrington and Cherita Ellison for discovering the hidden button in downtown Franklin during the Divas and Dudes Spring Fling event on Saturday, April 18.

During the week of April 13, anyone who purchased from the participating businesses received a clue in finding the button, which was hidden in downtown Franklin. Every business gave out a different clue to help the patrons get one step closer to finding the button on Saturday.

The following businesses who participated were The Cat’s Meow, Moore’s Emergency Solutions, Franklin Art and Frame Shop, Mr. D’s Southern Kitchen, Jus’ KAB Cakes, Mackans Office Supply and Printing, A+ Pack and Shipping and Alphabet Soup. The winners received a large basket filled with gift cards and products from various downtown businesses.

The Franklin Divas and Dudes next event will be held on Saturday, May 2, with a spring sidewalk sale. The event starts at 10 a.m., so be there early.

All the participating businesses will be doing their own spring cleaning throughout their business and promise to have some amazing sales for everyone.

Come downtown, do some shopping and let your business owners know that you support the local businesses. Every time you shop with a local business and spend $100 dollars, the business puts $68 of that back into the community through taxes, payroll and other expenditures.
