Wanting to have their own law firm, local attorneys Jack Randall and Drew Page have set up Randall | Page. Formerly Stallings and Randall, the latter said that former partner Moody Stallings “decided to focus on Virginia Beach endeavors.”

“Obviously, he was a valuable mentor to us,” said Randall, speaking recently with Page and this reporter about the new lineup at the firm.

“It was a planned separation,” Randall said, to which Page added, “We wanted to get more focused geographically.”

In addition to the practice in Courtland, the two men and their associates — Jennifer Dilworth and Daniel Vinson — have offices in Suffolk and Emporia. This business transition is anticipated to serve more clients and, obviously, bring in more revenue. There’s also hope to add an attorney next year.

“We have very talented lawyers, and expect they’ll be here long-term,” Randall said.

Each of the four brings their own credentials and skills to serving clients in matters of criminal law, family law, personal injury law and general law; the latter of which can include civil litigation, trusts and wills, though not bankruptcies and foreclosures.

Before coming to private practice, Randall was an assistant commonwealth’s attorney in Southampton County, having studied at Regent University School of Law, while also working full-time for the Virginia Beach Police Department. With those experiences, he’s particularly familiar with criminal law.

Page also attended Regent University School of Law, and even wrote for and was published by the Regent Law Review. The Franklin resident, who joined 4-1/2 years ago, is well versed in family law as one of his areas of expertise.

Dilworth graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and William and Mary School of Law, and had leadership positions at each. She joined Stallings and Randall in 2014, and is building a practice for criminal, litigation and traffic matters.

Vinson graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law after having already earned degrees in history and finance from two other colleges. He has tried criminal cases, as well as handling civil matters, such as business and contract litigation.

About the transition and its prospects, Randall said, “We’re excited and hopeful. It took a lot of hard work to get to this point.”
