CAPRON
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Friday, the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an overturned tractor trailer near the intersection of Southampton Parkway and Rawlings Road near Capron.

The operator of the 2007 Kenworth semi, Henry Lee Hodges of Bassett, was not injured when the vehicle turned on its side.

“Hodges was summoned for improper lane change,” said Major Gene H. Drewery, spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

Traffic was restricted to one lane until the accident was cleared around 10:20 a.m.
