PENDLETON, N.C. — Kathy Dunlow Cooke, 62, passed away on Oct. 10, 2015.
She was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and brought up in Franklin.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Boykins Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her father, Luther L. Dunlow.
Surviviors include her husband, Jimmy Allen Cooke; her mother, Katherine Baugham Dunlow of the home; a brother, J.L. Dunlow (Darlene) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a nephew, Michael Dunlow of Woodbridge, Virginia; a niece, Serenity Anne “Reni” Cooke; two brothers-in-law, Robert K. Cooke and Timothy H. Cooke (Becky); and four aunts, Bonnie Dunlow, Evelyn Baines (Aaron), Helen Caldwell and Pearl Brown (Alton).
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, in Boykins Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd T. Irby Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday in Wright Funeral Home Boykins Chapel, and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society for brain cancer research.
