FRANKLIN
Andrew Lind, staff writer for The Tidewater News, has been promoted to the position of sports editor. Lind joined the newspaper in November 2014 as the Southampton County beat reporter, and has also led the paper’s sports coverage for the past six months.

Tony Clark, publisher of The Tidewater News, said, “Andrew has made a significant contribution to our news and sports coverage since day one of his tenure with us. He has very much earned the additional responsibility of being our sports editor, and I expect great things from him.”

Lind is an Ohio native and a 2014 graduate of The Ohio State University.
