SUFFOLK — Roy Alan Cook, 52, passed away on Nov. 12, 2015.

He was born in Nansemond County, Virginia to James A. Cook and Georgia R. Barrett. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Roy is survived by mother, Georgia Rebecca Barrett; father, James A. Cook; and brother, Lyle Dale Cook.

The funeral will be on Monday Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, with the Rev. Howard Vinson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hunterdale Baptist Church, 23099 Sedley Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
