FRANKLIN — Elizabeth Anne Stagg Wrenn, 85, passed away on Jan. 10, 2016, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Wrenn, the widow of J. Ernest Wrenn Jr., was born in North Carolina and was a daughter of the late Charles Henry Stagg and Susan Emily Willson Stagg. She was also predeceased by two daughters and a son, Susan, Melinda and Jimmy; and two sisters and one brother, Martha Codemo, Emily Aigner and Charles Stagg.

Mrs. Wrenn was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and a former longtime member of Millfield Baptist Church and a volunteer at the East Pavilion.

She was a kind, loving, good mother with a very strong Christian faith who leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Chuck Wrenn and wife, Renee, and Mike Wrenn and wife, Meredith; four grandchildren, Brad, Brent, Emily and Morgan Wrenn; and one great grandchild, Bradlea Wrenn.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, in Franklin Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the new annex of Poplar Spring Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and suggests memorials be made to Franklin Baptist Church, 208 N. High St., Franklin, VA 23851, or Millfield Baptist Church, 31389 Millfield Rd., Wakefield, VA 23888.
