WINDSOR
The Town of Windsor will hold its own election in November, different than any other time before. This election will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 8, the same day as the presidential election.
Three town council seats are open this year. Durwood V. Scott, Greg Willis and J. Clinton Bryant all have seats that expire on Dec. 31. Anyone interested in running for one of the open seats should pick up a candidacy packet from the Town of Windsor Office or the Isle of Wight Registrar’s office. The packet includes a certificate of candidate qualifications and a declaration of candidacy. Before turning the packet back in, prospective candidates must get 125 valid signatures from registered voters in the Town of Windsor.
These packets are due back to the registrar by Tuesday, June 14.
Anyone who has any questions is asked to call the voter registrars office at 365-6302.
